My Story.....

I am a guitarist, keyboardist, song composer. and performer.  I have been making music since the age of 7 when  my father purchased my first guitar for me.  I fell in love with the guitar and Glen Campbell's "Gentle on my mind", plucked out the melody by ear, and have been making music ever since.

My passion has always been music performance and song writing.  My musical influences derive from jazz, blues, rock, and country music.  My Favorite Artists are Glen Campbell, Chet Atkins, Tommy Emmanuel, Carlos Santana, and Eddie Van Halen.

I have completed 3 full length albums.  My first album "Mixed Emotions", is a mix of Americana and Mainstream Classic 70s and 80s Rock.   "Why I Sing" is an album of inspirational Faith based Cinematic and Retro Christian music.  My latest album, "Friday Night"  is another exciting mix of Americana and Mainstream  Classic 70s and 80s Rock.  I have also written a collection of contemporary psalms entitled "From God's Heart to my Hands", and a Mass Setting titled "Mass of Joy" for use in Catholic liturgy.  I  continue to perform regularly as a solo acoustic performer, and with my band, "The Funky Uncles" providing music for  clubs, festivals, civic and private events. I also regularly perform with the "Navigators" donating all proceeds raised to local and national charities.

On a personal note, I truly believe that the ability to write and perform music is a very special gift from God which allows me to convey my thoughts, beliefs, feelings and emotions in a unique and powerful way.  So I thank God for the musical talents that He has so graciously given to me.  I thank my mother and father who nurtured and supported my musical abilities and creativity at an early age, and who have always supported and encouraged me in all my life's endeavors.  I thank my wife and son for all of their love and support, and for unknowingly being the inspiration for several of the songs on these albums.
